O secretário de saúde de Campinas, Cármino de Souza, apresentou números que provam a queda do contágio pelo novo coronavirus na cidade. A apresentação aconteceu nesta última sexta-feira, dia 11/09.

No pico da pandemia, o índice de confirmação de contaminação a cada teste feito era de 75% e agora está em torno de 10%, ou seja, uma queda considerável.

Para Cármino, os números mostram que a cidade está evoluindo no combate ao vírus e que no mês de setembro deverá se concretizar uma queda acentuada no número de novos casos.

As semanas 27 e 28 de junho foram as que tiveram o maior número de novos casos confirmados, enquanto as últimas semanas mostram a tendência de queda forte.

Com a taxa de contágio ficando abaixo de 1, ou seja, uma pessoa não necessariamente transmite para mais uma, o controle da doença é mais forte.
